Salvatore Michaelades Orloff was a Free Worlds League noble and commanding officer of the Fifth Free Worlds Legionnaires; after the Jihad and the dissolution of the Free Worlds League, the Legionnaires became the Second Andurien Rangers, and Orloff finished his career as an officer in the Andurien Defense Force.[2]

Salvadore controversially attended the Allison MechWarrior Institute instead of the House Orloff sponsored Orloff Military Academy[3]
Clan Invasion[edit]
Salvatore rose to commanding officer of the Fifth Free Worlds Legionnaires by 3050 and retained the position until at least 3067.[1][4][5]
Early Republic Era[edit]
By 3085, Salvatore's regiment had joined Duchy of Andurien, becoming the Second Andurien Rangers. He was held in suspicion by the Andurien press for his connection to the Oriente-aligned Duchy of Orloff, but insisted he considered the dead world of Lopez to be his true homeworld.[6]
He was the youngest brother of the Earl of Orloff, Alfonso Orloff.[4]
