Sandeep Halsey was a notable siege vehicle operator in the First Davion Guards during the Dark Age Era.[1]

Sergeant Halsey was attached to the First Davion Guards during the Battle of New Syrtis and worked closely with both the Guards and their mercenary allies over the course of the fighting. While Halsey's lance was initially assigned with providing security for the Federated Suns' landing zones, the Capellan Confederation's retreat into New Syrtis' cities lead him to be reassigned to a forward artillery battalion. During the heavy fighting to liberate the capital city, Halsey relied upon information forwarded by units such as Leftenant Leticia Herszmann's scout cars to deliver devastating fire on the Capellans' formations, ultimately accounting for a company of enemy BattleMechs and more than two companies of battle armor troopers and conventional infantry. Above all else, Halsey's greatest achievement was his destruction of an Assault Triumph-class DropShip before it could deploy its forces outside the city of Charlotte, eliminating another full company of Capellan 'Mechs and combat vehicles with his marksmanship.[1]
