History[edit]

As of 3052, Sandra Turley was a Demi-Precentor in the Com Guards, commanding a Level III referred to as Second Battalion in the 323rd Division under Precentor Mari Rennery. Deployed along with the rest of the Fifth Army to fight during the climactic Battle of Tukayyid, after Negative Communication successfully assisted in the defeat of Clan Smoke Jaguar's Sixth Jaguar Dragoons, the 323rd was assigned with the 299th Division to perform a combat drop and encircle the attacking Clan Diamond Shark.[1]

With Precentor Rennery stationing the 323rd Division, supported by the 299th, to the south of the Kozice Valley to cut off the withdrawal of the Shark's Alpha and Gamma Galaxies, Turley's Second Battalion was placed along the eastern edge of the Com Guard forces warded by a lake. Much to the shock of Turley and her commander, rather than weakened Clan forces coming from the north, the fresh 'Mechs of the Third Shark Regulars emerged without warning from the lake. Coming under fire from the Clan Commander's Vulture and the Clan Cluster outnumbering her Level III, Turley hurriedly ordered a fighting withdrawal to the next defensive line one hundred meters back and called a disbelieving Precentor Rennery asking for immediate support.[1]

Despite an orderly textbook fighting withdrawal, the Third Shark Regulars savage advance to try and save Alpha and Gamma Galaxies broke Turley's line before Rennery could even attempt to assist as the Third Shark CO Star Colonel Adrine personally downed then crushed Sandra Turley in her cockpit beneath her Vultures foot, sending Turley's surviving troops into headlong retreat as Rennery was forced to pull the rest of her forces back, allowing the Third Shark through, to preserve her forces.[1]

BattleMechs[edit]

Sandra Turley fought her final battle at the controls of an FLS-8K Flashman.[1]
