Duchess Sarah Aten was the daughter of Duchess Margaret Aten and the wife of Richard Steiner.[1]

Sarah was born around 3030.[1]
Clan Invasion[edit]
Following her 3056 marriage to Richard Steiner, her mother abdicated the throne. Unknown to Sarah, this abdication was not voluntary, essentially a coup carried out by Ryan and Richard Steiner. Once Sarah possessed the title, her husband began to assume the duties of Duke of Skye. She was described as being "meek, mild, and easily dominated by her forceful husband." Once Richard's treachery with the Second Skye Rebellion became known, Prince-Archon Victor Steiner-Davion stripped Richard, and presumably Sarah, of the title then granted it to David Sandoval.[1][2]
Notes[edit]
- Sarah's date of birth is derived from a statement that she was "only half Richard’s age at the time of the marriage." Richard was 53 in 3056.
- Sarah is never mentioned outside of Blood of Heroes, including a description of Margaret's children. One possible reason for this could be that her mother disowned her following Victor's stripping of the title.
