The Schuyler system was home to at least one habitable world and as of 3152 was located in the Pesht Military District of the Draconis Combine.[2]

System Description[edit]

The Schuyler system is located near the Polcenigo and Luzerne systems and is Coreward from Terra. The system has at least five planets and it has Recharge Stations at both the Zenith and Nadir Jump Points as of 3079.[2][1]

System History[edit]

The Schuyler system was colonized at some time prior to 2571.[3]

Planetary Info[edit]

Schuyler V, or simply Schuyler, is mainly an agricultural world with two moons, Fisk and Grant, that has been protected by the vast distances between it and the Lyran Commonwealth border. The world gained some industry and manufacturing capacity prior to the succession of the Free Rasalhague Republic in the 3030s. The arrival of the Clans in 3050's would bring conflict to Schuyler as it was occupied for some time. Also, the world was orbited by one of the last JumpShip construction yards within the Inner Sphere.[1]

Planetary History[edit]

Clan Invasion[edit]

Schuyler was conquered by Clan Smoke Jaguar in June 3050 during the Third Wave of Operation REVIVAL. The planet was defended by surviving elements of the Third Alshain Regulars who had escaped destruction earlier at Garstedt. Against them were deployed Trinary Assault, Trinary Command and Binary Elemental of the Seventh Jaguar Dragoons, hoping to finish off the fleeing unit. However, the newly resupplied regiment had other ideas. Over a series of staged battles lasting nearly a week, the regiment forced the Smoke Jaguars to expend energy and ammunition chasing after them as they moved from one spot to another, including major battles at Olasin Fjord and Mitsuhama Ridge. Such was the damage inflicted on the Clan forces that the Seventh Dragoon's commander Star Colonel Sidney Nevversan broke his bid and called in an extra Trinary to decide the battle. But the reinforcements came too late before the Regulars were able to retreat off-world.[18]

During the Smoke Jaguar occupation, People's Protection somehow shipped prototype versions of the H-T Spec-7a pistol to the resistance movements on Schuyler. There the resistance fighters used the weapons against their occupiers while also gaining valuable test date for People's Protection.[35]

Operation BULLDOG[edit]

Schuyler was invaded in the third wave of Operation BULLDOG by the First Genyosha, Davion Heavy Guards RCT, First St. Ives Lancers, Fourth Wolf Guard Assault Cluster, Tenth Lyran Guards, and the Com Guard Ninety-first Division on 10 August 3059. The defending Nu Galaxy Command Trinary, Fourth Jaguar Regulars, and Twelfth Jaguar Regulars fought fiercely but were forced to retreat to Huntress.[36][23]

First Combine-Dominion War[edit]

Clan Ghost Bear's Omega Galaxy would attack Schuyler in 3062 as part of the First Combine-Dominion War. They would battle with the defending 2nd Legion of Vega for four months before the Combine's Sixth Ghost arrived to assist. It was in November 23rd, 3062, that the Pesht Military District's Warlord, Teyasu Ashora, fell in combat against saKhan Aletha Kabrinski.[37] [38] [39] [40]

Bloody Tricentennial[edit]

In October 3080, Schyuler found itself one of the worlds attacked during the Bloody Tricentennial by Word of Blake remnants. The Twenty-second Dieron Regulars stationed at the Wakazashi Enterprises plant were attacked, but the defenders were able to stop the terrorists before they could sabotage the plant.[41]

Dark Age[edit]

In 3137, the Rasalhague Dominion raided many Draconis Combine border worlds, included Schuyler, to blood new troops. Elements of the Fourth Bear Regulars engaged defending Pesht Regulars troops where the Wraith Battle Armor proved crucial.[42]

Military Deployment[edit]

- At this point in time the 22nd was operating at 25% of full strength, with 100% of their equipment featuring upgraded technology.

- At this point in time the 10th was operating at 85% of full strength, with 91% of their equipment featuring upgraded technology.

Schuyler is a temperate world with two major landmasses, Colfax and Lackland.[1]

Industrial Centers[edit]

The "Raid and Revenge" scenario on pages 24–25 of ClanTroops describes remnant Combine forces conducting a raid on Clan Ghost Bear forces in 3050 on Schuyler. However, this information is in error as Clan Ghost Bear never conquered Schuyler as Clan Smoke Jaguar took the planet in 3050. Also, the Combine forces from the scenario are listed as the Ninth Pesht Regulars, but this is in error as well. The Ninth Pesht Regulars were stationed on Schwartz in 3050 and fought Clan Smoke Jaguar that same year.

It is unknown if the scenario was meant for another world in the Ghost Bear Occupation Zone or to describe the action on Schwartz at this time. To that end, this article does not include any of the information from that source to avoid creating confusion.
