Shane Shimizu was a former member of the First Altenmarkt Militia who joined Luukas Ranta in forming the pirate band known as Ranta's Bandits.[1]
History[edit]
Shane Shimizu was a resident of the Rasalhague Military District that was drawn into service of House Kurita, assigned to the First Altenmarkt Militia. He was loyal to Tai-sa Luukas Ranta. When the Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery attempted to silence Ranta's anti-Kurita behavior, Shimizu followed him to the outer reaches of the Combine. He became one of Ranta's subcommanders.[1]
The DCMS eventually hired mercenaries to hunt them down, first by liberating a farming community on Irece that Ranta's Bandits had been occupying. Shimizu died in the fighting but others were able to escape off-world.[1]
