Shaobuon was a part of the Sian Commonality of the Capellan Confederation and is located on the Periphery border near Adrar and Zhaomaon. Shaobuon vanished from maps during the 2nd Succession War.[11][14] At some point between 3067 and 3130 a system or planet named Liu's Memory appeared on maps in the exact location occupied by Shaobuon.[23][29]

Liu's Memory is an ice-locked world, tapped for its geothermal heat and power to support the mining and manufacturing industry located in the temperate zones. The independent, low-gravity planet supports a small population.[32]
