MechWarrior Shawn O'Neil was a member of the Command Lance, Jager's Company, Able Battalion, Epsilon Regiment of Wolf's Dragoons as of 3028.[1]

O'Neil participated in the Battle of Misery in 3028, which he survived despite seeing too many friends die. Following Misery, O'Neil and two of his lancemates sought permission from Colonel Jaime Wolf to retire from service. Wolf however prevailed on them to stay on, but only as members of the Dragoons' Home Guard.[1]

Shawn O'Neil was known to pilot a Crusader BattleMech.[1]
