Major General Sheridan Chou was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's LIX Corps as of 2764.[1]

Chou's career was mostly served as a staff officer, acting as Ib (operations officer) at Brigade and Division level, before ascending to Corps command. While with one Jump Infantry Division in this capacity, he demonstrated a real flair for devising low cost and high impact operational plans, and a preference for rapid movement and hard striking power became one of his calling cards in every subsequent assignment.
A careful officer who did not support the SLDF's withdrawal from the Rim Worlds Republic under the Birthday Proclamations, Chou chose to setup a provisional headquarters on the Lyran Commonwealth world of Australia near the RWR border, and allowed his subordinates to continue to conduct any pirate raids into RWR territory.[1]
