Sherlock Hansen II was a mercenary MechWarrior during the 4th Succession War.[1]
History[edit]
In August 3028, Sherlock Hansen II served in the Recon Lance of Bravo Company within Second Battalion of the Hansen's Roughriders. As the 4th Succession War began, the Roughriders, including Sherlock's unit, and the First Narhal Raiders were selected by the Lyran Commonwealth to attack the Wheel system as part of Operation GÖTTERDÄMMERUNG. There they were to engage the defending Tooth of Ymir mercenary unit in the employ of the Draconis Combine. However, instead of a grueling battle, the commander of the Tooth of Ymir would challenge the attackers to a "traditional" battle between MechWarriors only in the Red Desert Flats on the world of Valdis I within the Wheel system. After 72 hours, the Tooth of Ymir troops were surrounded, but were allowed to admit defeat and leave the system without further losses.[2]
