Shifty was a notable Elemental officer in Clan Hell's Horses Twelfth Rangers Cluster during the Dark Age Era.[1]
History[edit]
Star Commander Shifty was born into a famous sibko, with all of his siblings going on to either die in combat or attain the rank of Star Colonel. Conversely, Shifty proved unable to attain his Bloodname and the ensuing disgrace lead to him being reassigned to a solahma unit. Despite this turn of fate, Shifty's skills kept him alive throughout fifteen years of service amidst his Clan's outcasts and he was eventually given command of a Star of battle armor troopers in the Twelfth Rangers in 3141. While the other members of his sibko would have considered anti-piracy duties to be a further disgrace, Shifty saw it as his last chance to die honorably in service of the Clan and lead numerous reckless missions as head of his new unit. Not only did this result in significant success for Shifty's Star, it also allowed him to demonstrate the strength of his genetics in spite of his troubled history.[1]

Star Commander Shifty operated a suit of Buraq Fast Battle Armor while serving with the Twelfth Rangers.[1]
