The Shoshone was an independent trader JumpShip of unspecified type, capable of carrying at least one DropShip. In mid-March 3057, Alexander Carlyle and Davis McCall traveled from Laiaka to Caledonia with the Shoshone, and the Shoshone's DropShip Tagalong brought them to the planet's New Edinburgh starport where they arrived on 31 March.[1]
