Sigma Galaxy was formed in 2858 to garrison new worlds that were colonized as part of Clan Blood Spirit's early expansion efforts. Garrisoned Foster until Clan Burrock raids on Blood Spirit transport routes forced the abandonment of the colony.[1]
They won OmniMech technology for Clan Blood Spirit from Kindraa Smythe-Jewel of Clan Fire Mandrill, but later developed amicable feelings for that Kindraa to such an extent that they requested permission to attack Clan Hell's Horses and Clan Coyote when they heard of Kindraa Smythe-Jewel's destruction at the hands of those two Clans in 2872. When the Blood Spirit Khan refused the Galaxy almost revolted. [1]
In the 3060's the Galaxy supported Alpha Galaxy against the constant raids of Clan Star Adder against York, it appears that these raids reduced it in strength to a point were one of its Clusters was disbanded. [3] [4]
During 3069 several Clusters stationed on York were moved to other holdings, presumably transferred to different Galaxies on a "Shell Game" of deceit. [5] It was probably during this period that the 88th Crimson Guards and the 158th Crimson Guards were transferred out of the Galaxy.
The Galaxy then joined with Omega and Zeta Galaxies on Circe in 3070. Here they were engaged by Star Adder forces who inflicted heavy casualties on all three Galaxies. [6] The Galaxy moved to form part of the York garrison supporting the effort to drive the Adders from the planet. They remained here until the Adder assault of 3072 when orbital bombardment wiped the Galaxy out.[2]

3069[edit]
In 3069 the Spirits rotated their Clusters between Galaxies, with Clusters moved one at a time from York to other holdings. [8] All three Clusters noted in 3067 must have been transferred from Sigma at this time as all three survived the destruction of the Galaxy.
Rules[edit]
If Sigma deploys a Binary or less they receive a =1 to Initiative rolls, if they deploy more than a Binary the modifier is -1.[9]
Notes[edit]
Sigma Galaxy paints its units in blood red. A dark smoke color is applied to the arms and legs of BattleMechs, fading toward the torso. Armor and Aerospace use the fade from front to back.[1]
