Simon Karosas was the leader of House Karosas. He is described as a man who does not take kindly to fools. His house is renowned for their technical expertise.[1]
History[edit]
He was initially scornful of Lady Kamea upon hearing of her liberation of Smithon. He told her of Lina's death and stated that when she died, his cause died with her. For compensation for her death and his help, Simon suggested that Lady Arano's mercenary forces take out the DropShip known as the Newgrange. Kamea would agree and in exchange, Simon would help locate a hidden Outpost Castle; Castle Nautilus, on Artru. After the battle, Simon gave his word to help Lady Arano, satisfied with her mercenaries' work and their capture of Victoria Espinosa.[1]
Death[edit]
After Samuel and his Taurian forces broke Lady Victoria out of her cell, she would leave Simon broken as he saw the carnage of Smithon and his dead son lying near the cell's entrance. Shortly after the demoralized Simon was killed by Victoria, who shot him in the head with Samuel's pistol. With both known heirs dead and now Simon himself deceased, House Karosas went extinct.
Canonicity[edit]
Featured only in the apocryphal computer game BattleTech video game, House Karosas and its destruction were mentioned in the House Arano book, but whether Simon himself is canon is uncertain.[1]
