Skye Pleasure Craft Limited was a Lyran Commonwealth watercraft manufacturer.
Overview[edit]
Skye Pleasure Craft Ltd was originally a civilian manufacturer of watercraft including ferries, pleasure yachts, and other small waterborne vessels in the Lyran Commonwealth. The company entered the military market in 2867 when the New Glasgow Yacht Club contracted the company to build twelve military-grade hydrofoils for their naval Skye Militia detachment, the 348th Reserve Detachment.[1][2] After the Sea Skimmer's performance against the Draconis Combine during a raid against Skye, the company's sales for the craft blossomed.
By 3067, the company had expanded into the interstellar market for military and civilian waterborne vessels of all sizes.[1]
