The Squawk was a species of animal native to Irece that was known for, and named after, its loud and distinctive cry.[1]
History[edit]
During the Clan Invasion, in December 3051, a Squawk played a role in assisting the defending Eighteenth Dieron Regulars. A Star of headhunter Elementals sent to attack the command of the Eighteenth by Galaxy Commander John Rosse of Clan Nova Cat's Beta Galaxy disturbed a squawk during their approach, its loud cry alerting the Eighteenth's command staff to the Elementals' presence, allowing their command company scramble and destroy the Elementals.[1]
