Star Festival

Celebrated primarily on Paxon, the Star Festival is a week long festival celebrated every 6407 days. The festival observes a natural phenomenon, the spectacular flaring of Theta Pyxidis, a recurring nova approximately 16 light-years anti-spinward of Paxon.[1]

While not as spectacular, the flaring of Theta Pyxidis can also be observed from other anti-spinward Clan Homeworlds.[1] Londerholm, Barcella, and Grant's Station are the closest neighboring systems to Paxon.[2] It is unclear any of these other worlds observe the Star Festival.[1]
