The Starrunner was a JumpShip of unknown class that served during the Dark Age. The ship was supposedly a merchant but did some covert work for the Republic of the Sphere from time to time.
The JumpShip was at Dieron, sheltering a fugitive from the Draconis Combine. When some Combine ships started putting pressure on them, hemming them in, and with the Starrunner getting word that anywhere they could jump had Combine ships waiting for them, they decided to jump to Altair under the hope that being on Republic business the "Wall" would not affect them.
By the 9th of November 3135 everybody was still waiting for any news from them.[1]
