Straken was a notable officer in Clan Hell's Horses' Forty-second BattleMech Cluster during the Dark Age Era.[1]

Nova Commander Straken was one of the rare warriors to survive receiving an Enhanced Imaging Neural Implant and fought on Hesperus II alongside the Forty-second BattleMech Cluster. Clan Wolf focused much of their fire on Straken's unit, wiping out most of the soldiers in his Nova and filling him with a deep sense of hatred. While he was reassigned to Csesztreg to train new warriors, Straken successfully Trialed to keep his OmniMech and to return to active service once his cadets graduated.[1]
