Strength of the Pack is a serialized novel by Jason Hansa and the fourth and final entry into the Honor & Glory series announced by Catalyst Game Labs as unlockable stretch goals for the 2019 Clan Invasion Crowdfunding Campaign.

The novel was the result of the "Level IV" $360,000 stretch goal for the 2019 Clan Invasion Crowdfunding Campaign. It was intended to provide an additional channel to showcase Senior Backer canon characters in a new novel, and planned to be released for free in digital format to all Star Commander tier level backers and above, with lower tiers having the option to purchase the title.

It was ultimately released in EPUB for free to all Clan Invasion backers irrespective of their tier via the CGL online store on 20 December 2024, with retail release of each individual entry beginning 21 August 2025.

FOUR WARRIORS BEGIN THEIR JOURNEYS TO GREATNESS…

Training is over, and Clan Wolf MechWarriors Deffin, Mikila, Tripp, and Valt all embark on their respective missions—all heading to different corners of the Inner Sphere. For exemplary warrior Deffin, her place is in the Silver Wolves in Beta Galaxy, carrying on the legacy of her genemothers and ensuring she will be the tip of the spear as her clan carries the fight to its foes.

Milika and Tripp, on the other hand, are placed with Epsilon Galaxy, the lowest Galaxy in the touman, expected to help bolster the depleted unit with new blood. But first Mikila must deal with her Point Commander, who seems to have a grudge against her new warrior.

And Valt…as a MechWarrior demoted to the infantry, his journey takes him to the remote planet of Casperia, where he will begin his quest to capture a ’Mech and rejoin his friends…by any means possible.

EVERY WARRIOR HAS THEIR OWN BATTLE TO FIGHT…

After graduating from their sibko as MechWarriors, Milika and Tripp have been assigned to Epsilon Galaxy, the lowest Galaxy in the Clan Wolf touman, assigned there to help boost the ranks and improve their combat readiness.

The affable, charismatic Tripp fits in right away, but Milika’s integration with her Star is a bit more arduous. After challenging Star Commander Zenobia to a Trial of Grievance she does not win, Mikila and Zenobia a reach mutual accord nevertheless, and their Star finally begins performing as a true unit.

And when they get the chance to prove themselves on the battlefield, Mikila is willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that her Star—and Clan Wolf—emerges victorious…
