Ted Atkins[edit]

I removed Ted Atkins per the guidelines at WikiProject BattleMechs. --Scaletail 12:09, 28 February 2009 (PST)

To elaborate, the policy requests that only "major" characters are noted in the 'Mech entries. Most "notable" characters from the TROs are not, by any means, "major" characters within the universe. As a rough guide, a pilot should only be mentioned here if he features in a novel or appears in other canonical sources either prominently or at least repeatedly. Typically, such a character also will have (or should have...) his own article on this wiki. Frabby 13:40, 28 February 2009 (PST)
Since the guidelines say "In order to be considered notable, a character must have a linked article written about them." Does this mean as long as Ted Atkins (essentially a minor character, but notable pilot) (listed in TRO:3025 - Original 1986 Issue) has a page dedicated to that character, it can be added? Just curious, since I think read somewhere from another user there is interest in attempting to add all the notable pilots listed in TROs. Thehawk (talk) 18:01, 30 July 2017 (EDT)

Archer C[edit]

I added the details of the Archer C from The Battle for Twycross scenario pack. I explicitly included the details of the source for this design, as I realize these designs have not appeared often, and their canonicity could be considered questionable. The inclusion of this design is strictly informational, and can be removed if considered too controversial.--S.gage 02:15, 1 May 2010 (UTC)

Historical Turning Points mallory's world[edit]

I've removed the Update Needed tag for Historical Turning Points: Mallory's World because the Archer used by Morgan Kell is a standard ARC-2R, as described in the main entry. No need for an update.--Mbear 20:42, 1 June 2011 (UTC)

Introduction[edit]

I found in Era Digest: Age of War the introduction in 2458 and not in 2474??.--Doneve 03:05, 5 August 2011 (UTC)

Cranston Snord[edit]

Shouldn’t Cranston Snord get mentioned as a notable Archer pilot? -Hutton 15 February 2018, at 12:09

If you feel that he should be then feel free to edit the article. Dmon (talk) 13:24, 15 February 2018 (EST)

Cranston Snord should most definitely be included as a notable pilot due to an entire module (one of the very first ever made) being devoted to his units exploits. As an Archer pilot, he has notably recorded battle history as cannon. Perhaps not in a novel directly but neither is a single whitworth pilot? What ever the community decides is great but it makes sense to include him.
