Could someone who owns Merc's HB: 3055 reassure me that the information on the above unit is correct? The description does not appear to be a about a custom variant to my eyes (which means that a rephrase might be in order if the info is right) and the code is probably wrong (all other Crusaders are CRDs rather then CDRs). Thanks.-- 05:03, 12 October 2010 (UTC)

Just checked and yes it is a real variant... "The Crusader-4BR is a refit of a Crusader-3R made by Bander BattleMechs"... It could possibly even be moved up into the regular variants since there is no real indication that it is a one off refit (The example unit has two of em). --Dmon 05:51, 12 October 2010 (UTC)

I can not locate any information on the CDR-1R that was added to this page. This needs citation - I don't think the Master Unit List is enough, since there is no fluff writing there. Is there a source book for it? Thehawk (talk) 00:26, 2 September 2017 (EDT)

Unfortunately, the MUL doesn't provide a product to reference. The {{cn}} will have to suffice for now. --Revanche (talk|contribs) 10:18, 2 September 2017 (EDT)
I did some digging on this and found this thread at the official forum. Short answer is, the 1R was created as a downgrade of the 2R in order to reconcile the canon introduction date of the Crusader with technology available at the time (streaks not invented yet). There is no published description or record sheet. The 1R entry in the article appeared approximately 6 months after the above thread was started, and is primarily speculation based on the (now deleted) BV in the MUL entry. Article fixed.--Cache (talk) 16:36, 6 May 2021 (EDT)
Great detective work, Cache..--Revanche (talk|contribs) 20:00, 6 May 2021 (EDT)
