Wet Ammo Racks[edit]

I don't remember which exact vehicles that they were used on, but I remember reading every now and then about something that was used during World War II that functioned similarly to CASE, called a Wet Ammo Rack (it's a real thing). Instead of containing the explosion and redirecting it, however, the walls of the ammo rack would flood the ammo compartment with water or foam to extinguish the fire before it even began, thus ruining the ammo but preventing the explosion from happening. In a way, it might actually be slightly better than CASE in some regards (though also probably worse in others). I will have to research further into it, but I'll let you guys know what I find.

Perhaps if XTRO: 1945 ever gets a sequel, we'll see that show up, along with some of the other more obscure stuff from World War II. ~Amaroq Starwind~ (talk) 13:21, 23 March 2018 (EDT)

The original author is gone from battletech as far i know, so i don't think there will be one. --Wrangler (talk) 14:22, 23 March 2018 (EDT)
