Politics and History[edit]

Under Politics, I noticed that it mentioned two Marches border on old enemies of the Federated Suns, but it doesn't detail which two. Could someone fix that, or let me know which two those are? Sicarus 13:51, 11 September 2012 (PDT)

It means the Capellan March border to the Capellan Confederation and the Draconis March border to the Draconis Combine, both are old enemies of the Federated Suns, i hope this help.--Doneve 13:58, 11 September 2012 (PDT)
Thanks, and yeah. Didn't catch the obvious for some reason. Sicarus 14:42, 11 September 2012 (PDT)

Another interesting thing in the intro section was the mention of several different Marches that have existed since the Suns was founded, but no mention of names or history. Was it just the three, or have there been others? Sicarus 16:16, 11 September 2012 (PDT)

I found the Sarna March, a new created March after the 4th Succession War, to integrate some captured worlds from the Capellan Confederation.--Doneve 16:30, 11 September 2012 (PDT)
I think the Tamar Pact would count too, though it sounds small and was eventually taken by the Commonwealth. Sicarus 16:51, 11 September 2012 (PDT)
I must correct you, the Tamar Pact was a Lyran Commonwealth pact, we speak from the Federated Suns marches not from the Federated Commonwealth marches, i hope iam right, when not please correct me.--Doneve 16:56, 11 September 2012 (PDT)
Agreed. In addition, the Sarna March was never technically part of the Federated Suns. It existed only under the AFFC, and then only under the Lyran Commonwealth command. (Remember that it was a wedding gift.) ClanWolverine101 20:38, 11 September 2012 (PDT)

Katherine Stiener-Davion[edit]

After reviewing the information I have on hand including the FCCW sourcebook Katherine was never oficially the first prince and was instead a regent. She even went by the title of "First Princess" which is not a recognized title within the Federated Suns or Commonwealth. I have changed the article to reflect this and can cite the exact wording from the FCCW sourcebook if needed. --CJKeys 08:44, 20 December 2006 (CST)

My sources aren't the best, but that's the impression I've always had. Good catch. --Xoid 05:07, 21 December 2006 (CST)

This list of WarShips obviously comes from Field Manual: Federated Suns, but makes no distinction concerning operational WarShips vs. ones under construction. I mean, if we're going to list all WarShips, why not include what we can from the Star League era? On the Wikipedia article, I eliminated the list entirely, but I'm not sure that's the proper course here; however I cannot think of a better way to handle it. Perhaps a note next to each ship concerning the date of its commission and its fate? Scaletail 21:26, 26 December 2006 (CST)

That would seem appropriate to me as far as listing commission and fate if known. --CJKeys 21:53, 26 December 2006 (CST)
Not sure about the amount of content that there is available for each ship. If there is enough for separate articles, maybe a "Warships of the Federated Suns" page linked here (with a short intro), then it further splits the topic down like the characters list did.
If there isn't enough for that, but enough that it'll eventually make this article bloated, perhaps just a Warships of the Federated Suns article would be enough.
Otherwise? The list with commission and fate sounds appropriate. --Xoid 01:56, 28 January 2007 (CST)
I filled in what I have, but I know two of Victor's Fox-class Corvettes were destroyed when he assaulted New Avalon at the end of the FCCW, but I don't have Endgame (loaned it to a friend) at the moment to confirm which two. Scaletail 13:01, 28 January 2007 (CST)
