Is it stated how this guy died in the Jihad? I ASSUME someone killed him, since he was so close to fake Thomas Marik. ClanWolverine101 12:28, 21 August 2011 (UTC)

Nothing explicit, but CGL held an "IC Chat" with The Master on 10 July where it was asked what happened to Blane. The Master curtly replied "Spaced over Tharkad". The chat's canonicity is doubtful (i.e. apocryphal), though it was not explicitly said to be non-canon either. It wasn't revealed who stood in for The Master, btw (as far as I know - it was speculated it might have been Herb Beas from a second terminal). Frabby 13:33, 21 August 2011 (UTC)
Update: In the official chat on 22 Oct 2011, Line Developer Herb Beas confirmed that Blane was really spaced over Tharkad because Cameron (presumably referring to Cameron St. Jamais) had enough of him. The fact is thus canon, while the circumstances are not. Frabby 19:16, 22 October 2011 (UTC)
Anything about circumstances? Canon or no? ClanWolverine101 00:56, 23 October 2011 (UTC)
