Technical Readout: 3025: Centennial Commemorative Edition is a updated commemorative version of the seminal Technical Readout: 3025 originally produced by by FASA in 1986. With frequent fan request for an updated version of TRO:3025 featuring the updated Classic art introduced by Catalyst Game Labs since 2015 and noting that 2025 is the one-thousand year pre-anniversary of 3025, Catalyst would commit to commissioning the remaining art required to replicate the original as closely as possible. The title also includes an Annex of Editors Notes clarifying issues and differences between the various editions of the original TRO:3025 and later sources, as providing additional variants including from apocryphal sources.
In-universe as its name implies, the title is themed as a updated fifth edition of the 3025 Technical Readout developed by the Republic of the Sphere in 3125 to celebrate the centennial of the release of the the ComStar original, featuring an Annex of Editors Notes providing clarifications on any changes made and omissions ComStar intentionally or neglected chose not to include in the original.
