Around ca. 3025 Ted Hegel was a mercenary and a possible recruit who could be contracted to fight for the Blazing Aces. At the time, he was apparently dispossessed (or otherwise in need of a new 'Mech) and rated as an average gunner with poor piloting skills.[1]
He had a lookalike in fellow mercenary Bob True. (Character images in the MechWarrior computer game were shared between two different characters.)
