- oldid: on the Wikipedia article's page, click on "permanent link" in the toolbox (found on the left-hand side of the screen). You'll get a link in the form http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Example_namespace:Example_page/Example_subpage&oldid=number. number is what you are after. Replace the violet, bolded text in the code example with number.
- FULLPAGENAME: This is an optional parameter. If both Wikipedia's and our articles share the exact same name, then omit this parameter entirely. Wikipedia's full page name for the article. Convert spaces into underscores. Note that you must include the namespace, the pagename and any subpages, if applicable. e.g.;
Example_namespace:Example_page/Example_subpage Namespace Page name Subpage name Example_namespace: Example_page /Example_subpage
