Terran Corridor

The Terran Corridor is a term applied to the worlds linking a Successor State or other power to humanity's homeworld Terra.

Originally part of the Terran Hegemony, that nation's fall after the Amaris Civil War left these systems under the control of the Great Houses. Each Successor State's Terran Corridor became a battleground during the First Succession War as the House militaries first fought to secure former Hegemony worlds and then continued battling across their new borders. The Federated Suns' Corridor in particular saw heavy fighting due to that nation's spectacular reverses, at one point ceasing to exist entirely as it was swallowed up by the Capellan Confederation while the Draconis Combine's offensive drove all the way to New Avalon.

In the mid-thirty-second-century Clan Jade Falcon would carve out its own Terran Corridor as a stepping stone to Terra and claiming the mantle of ilClan.
