The Private Journals of a Loyal Marshal was a written work, authored by Prime Marshal Peter Davion and published by Avalon Military Press, in 2874.[1]

This work contained the private journals of Peter Davion, published a year after his death, and included his thoughts on military matters. He for instance noted that success in war was not simply a matter of academic skill or intelligence, and that this fact, was reflected in the type of military commanders which rose to the top of the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns.[1]
