Precentor Julius Rostinberger, commander of the 82nd Division from ComStar was unwilling to serve under new Precentor Martial Victor Steiner-Davion. So in 3063 he resigned his commission and went to Outreach where he formed his own mercenary unit, The Shield. Nearly a Level III of troops left with him..[1]
