The Thirtieth Infantry Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History[edit]
In 2764, the unit was stationed on Holt,[2] assigned as part of XIX Corps, Eighth Army to District 1 of the Free Worlds League Military Region.[3] The Thirtieth's operational area was the coreward half of the Federation of Oriente, though they had not seen combat in quite some time.[1]
The Thirtieth was transferred to District 3 in 2765 in response to the Periphery Uprising. The unit was destroyed during the Hegemony Campaign.[3]

Tactics[edit]
The Thirtieth had a well-deserved reputation for refusing to retreat while defending in prepared positions, even in the face of high casualties.[1]
Composition History[edit]
As an SLDF Infantry division, the Thirtieth would have been formed from two brigades of grunt infantry and a brigade of light BattleMech regiments.[4]
