The Thirtieth Jump Infantry Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History[edit]
In 2764, the unit was stationed on Cheriton,[2] assigned as part of L Corps, Sixteenth Army to District 3 of the Draconis Combine Military Region but was moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery in 2765 in response to the Periphery Uprising. The Thirtieth survived the war and the Hegemony Campaign, and followed General Aleksandr Kerensky on the Exodus in 2784.[3]

Tactics[edit]
Formed as a jungle-fighting force, the Thirtieth can maneuver with ease through swamps and jungle canopies.[1]
Composition History[edit]
As an SLDF Jump Infantry division, the Thirtieth would have been formed from two brigades of Jump Troops, one brigade of BattleMech regiments, and two ground aero wings.[4]
