The Thirtieth Regulan Hussars were raised by dragooning several mercenary lances into permanent service to the Regulan Fiefs. As of 3145, they hadn't seen any action, instead training to work together as a unit on Cameron.[2]
July 3147 found the Thirtieth supporting the First Regulan Hussars and Fourth Regulan Hussars in their assault on Marik. The Thirtieth was assigned to raid the rear areas of the Clan forces they faced. The initial conflict saw the Hussars inflict losses on the Purifier Cluster (Clan Protectorate) and the Hussars split up to hit different objectives. The Thirtieth supported the Fourth Hussars during this effort.
They attacked the Winter Palace Training Grounds, facing the Shiva Keshik. At first the Clan forces ripped through the Fourth, but the Thirtieth responded and forced the Clan back on the defensive. When Galaxy Commander Rikkard Nova Cat issued a trial against the commander of the Fourth Regulan Hussars. Her response was to order massed fire on the Galaxy Commander, and Shiva Keshik quickly destroyed the Regulan Hussars units.[3]
