The Thirty-ninth Royal BattleMech Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army. It was one of the SLDF's Royal units, which consisted of troops from the Terran Hegemony.
History[edit]
In 2725, the division successfully took part in Operation SMOTHER to put an end to the ongoing fighting between House Davion and House Kurita forces during the Second Hidden War.[1]
In 2764, the unit was stationed on Raman,[2] assigned as a part of the IX Corps, Second Army to District 1 of the Federated Suns Military Region. It was then transferred to District 2 in 2765 in response to the New Vandenberg Uprising.[3] With the start of the Amaris Civil War, the Thirty-ninth would take part in the Hegemony Campaign to win back Terra. The unit would survive the fighting to take part in Operation EXODUS.[3]
