The Tiber Planetary Militia Force was the locally raised defense force for the Free Worlds League world of Tiber.

History[edit]

The unit had defended Tiber from external attacks, but when Tiber dissidents tried to undermine the FWL government, the Tiber Planetary Militia Force and one of the Regulan Hussars regiments sided with them. The arrival of the First Regulan Hussars with their elite company Rolling Thunder destroyed the rebels in early 3025 in several urban confrontations. They made their last stand on Altoona, a small rebel city located in the rugged Selkirk mountains. 23 March 3025 was the last day of the rebellion.[1]

Armor (hover mostly) and infantry filled the ranks of the militia. At the time of the rebellion they had also enlisted hasty armed civilians.[1]
