Tim Balke was the lead Supervising Technician of the Hauberk U15.[1]
History[edit]
Tim started this project while sorting through the salvage left from the expulsion of the Word of Blake from New Avalon. He worked with the wreckage of Hauberk and Infiltrator Mk. II, plus the hulks of Blakist Purifier and Demon battle armor. The mixing of systems from the different battle suits created a new Hauberk variant effective at urban combat, with the ability to disappear from the battlefield thanks to the mimetic armor salvaged from the Purifier suits.
By 3090, Tim had built four of these suits, which were tested successfully by a battle armor unit stationed nearby. They were tested against a Valkyrie and two other 'Mechs[1]. People started to call his battle armor the "Balke Method of Superior Combat".
