Timons Davion was the Field Marshal in command of the MI-2 Division (Analysis and Speculation) of the Department of Military Intelligence in 2787.[1]

In March 2787 Field Marshal Davion received a report from Marshal Janos Dedirth, the Commander of MI-3 (Electronic Information Gathering) for the Draconis Combine sector, urgently warning of activity in the Galedon Military District which suggested an imminent invasion of the Federated Suns. Field Marshal Davion however dismissed this report as delusional paranoia, contributing to the unpreparedness of the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns when the Combine did in fact invade in May 2787.
The messages between Field Marshal Davion and Marshal Dedirth were obtained by ComStar, who kept them in Federated Suns Folders 26A, within the ComStar Research Archives.[1]
