Tomas was an officer in Clan Smoke Jaguar's Second Jaguar Guards Cluster during Operation BULLDOG.[1]

Star Commander Tomas and the Second Jaguar Guards were stationed on Caripare when it was invaded by the First Shin Legion, Second An Ting Legion, First Fusiliers of Oriente, and First St. Ives Lancers during Operation Bulldog. When the Clan Nova Cat forces on Caripare were defeated and promptly joined the Inner Sphere forces, the Second Jaguar Guards made the decision to withdraw from the planet. Tomas and her Star of Elementals were part of the Nova tasked with fighting a rearguard action in order to protect their retreating comrades and Tomas quickly entrenched her forces in the heavily-forested regions of the Trevorton Mountains. Tomas' troopers set forest fires that obscured sightlines and funneled their Sphereoid opponents into a narrow valley, where the Smoke Jaguars managed to destroy three light BattleMechs before being flushed from cover. While the majority of Tomas' unit was killed, the four hour delay they caused enabled almost a Trinary of Jaguar Guards to escape from Caripare.[1]
