Personal Appearance[edit]

History[edit]
Band of Five[edit]
Following the Blackout, the then Lieutenant Colonel Maldonado worked closely with Jacob Bannson, as the XO of the Band of Five within his Bannson's Raiders paramilitary organization.[1] In October 3135, when Fortress Republic was declared and Prefecture X was made inaccessible to the remainder of the Inner Sphere, Maldonado was with a Band of Five raiding party which was cut off from the rest of Bannson's Raiders outside The Wall.[7] Following the death of Bannson and the dissolution of his Raiders in 3136, Maldonado fled the Republic of the Sphere, leaving behind several worlds who wanted her arrested for war crimes and an entry on the Republic's "To Kill" list.[5]
Melissia[edit]
By January 3151, the now Colonel Maldonado was the senior mercenary leader for Graf Yiorgos Laskaris's pro-Lyran Commonwealth Noble Council, during the Mellissian Civil War on Melissia.[2] In this conflict, Maldonado's mercenaries were used by the Noble Council to stiffen under trained local forces, in their conflict with the more democratic on-world enemies in the Melissian Republic.[6] This conflict continued until the arrival of Duke of Hesperus II Vedet Brewer, who looking to turn the situation to his own advantage, initially offered his assistance to the Noble Council.[6]
In the final battle of the Civil War however, on 8 March 3151, Laskaris and Maldonado were betrayed by Duke Brewer. Appearing to come to the battle in support of the Noble Council, Brewer instead launched a surprise attack on the flanks of Maldonado's forces, quickly defeating them.[4][8] Following this betrayal, the captured Colonel Maldonado was put on trial for banditry by the Melissian Republic during May 3151[8], at which she was convicted and jailed.[9]
Voices of the Sphere[edit]
In June 3152 Maldonado was interviewed by Voices of the Sphere from her jail cell on Melissia, on the topic of the collapse of the Clan Jade Falcon Occupation Zone, and its replacement by the Hinterlands. In this interview, Maldonado expressed her view that while Vedet Brewer was the leader of the newly formed Hinterlands state the Vesper Marches based on Melissia, he was just as much an amoral criminal as her former associate Jacob Bannson.[9]
BattleMech[edit]
Maldonado was known to have piloted a Emperor BattleMech.[4]
