Planetary History[edit]
Originally named Tsunami, Tsamma was settled as an agricultural world. Later surveys found that the world's many turbulent oceans had a relatively low salt content which made it easy to create potable water. This industry has made Tsamma the largest exporter of drinking water in fifty light years. The world is largely covered by tropical jungles and the high humidity of the world provides 70 centimeters of rain a year. Tsamma is also the site of some of the most dangerous hurricanes in the Inner Sphere.[1]
Third Succession War[edit]
Although historically and nominally a Federated Suns world, Tsamma had a pro-Capellan government which in the first decade of the thirty-first century, which by 3003 was supported by Warrior House Ijori's regiment.[43] That same year, a Davion raiding force led by the Dry River Devils mercenary regiments conducted an assault on Tsamma but was forced to surrender and turn over their regiment of 'Mechs when expected reinforcements failed to arrive.[43][44]
FedCom Civil War[edit]
Located in the capital city of Phe-Phen are the headquarters of Crystal Sky Water Interstellar and Tsamma-Chiquita Agrotech.[1] During the FedCom Civil War a number of battles were fought in and around the city of Belleauxville, as well as nearby towns such as Kana-Hoi. Active on the planet were Loyalist forces including the First Royal Guards and Allied commands including the First Crucis Lancers.[45]
Military Deployment[edit]
Geography[edit]
Tsamma has three continents (Shade, Bleacher, and Arcadia) which produce a great deal of agricultural products: the jungles are home to many types of tropical fruit.[1]
Planetary Locations[edit]
- Belleauxville[45]
- Kana-Hoi[45]
- Phe-Phen: planetary capital[1]
- Ponce de Leon: a resort on the southern coast of Arcadia[1]
