The Tukayyid crocodile was a Tukayyid offshoot of the Terran crocodile distinguished by its size and intense aggression, including against humans. Tukayyid crocodiles were the Nestlie River Delta wetlands's top predator and a popular target for hunters seeking skins, skulls, and teeth.[1]
Crocodiles were brought to Tukayyid by the MTH Conglomerate in an attempt to clear away the striped mud slider, a venomous amphibian disrupting the Conglomerate's rice-growing business in the Delta. The crocodiles rapidly took over their new environment without wiping out the mud sliders, bringing agricultural efforts to a collapse.[1]
