The Twenty-eighth Infantry Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History[edit]
In 2764, the unit was stationed on Sudeten,[2] assigned as part of II Corps, Twelfth Army to District 2 of the Lyran Commonwealth Military Region.[3] The Twenty-eighth was considered the primary defensive division of II Corps.[1]
The Twenty-eighth was moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery in 2765 to take part in the Periphery Uprising. The unit was destroyed during the Hegemony Campaign.[3]

Tactics[edit]
The Twenty-eighth were considered defensive experts and unmovable once dug in.[1]
Composition History[edit]
As an SLDF Infantry division, the Twenty-eighth would have been formed from two brigades of grunt infantry and a brigade of light BattleMech regiments.[4]
