Ursula Ajax was the commanding officer of the Third Battalion of the First McCarron's Armored Cavalry as of 3025.[1]

Major Ajax was a member of the Capellan Confederation Armed Forces and served as part of McCarron's Armored Cavalry's First Regiment in 3025.[1]
During the Fourth Succession War, Ajax and her battalion of the First MAC were assigned to raid the Federated Suns world of Nopah in January 3029. Typical for the style of the Big Mac, Ajax decided to land her forces almost directly on top of the supply depot that was their objective and was thus badly surprised by the presence of the Twelfth Vegan Rangers' Beta Regiment. Ajax's troops fell back in the face of the Rangers' Second Battalion but almost managed to utilize their skills to defeat their opponents before the Rangers' First and Third Battalions joined the fray. While momentarily pausing to assess the situation, Ajax's BattleMech was ambushed and critically damaged by a Rangers Stalker, forcing her to eject from her machine and taking her out of the fight. Many of Ajax's soldiers were defeated in the ensuing battle but two companies of survivors managed to begin a guerrilla campaign that would trouble the citizens and soldiers of Nopah for several months to come.[2]
