History of the Magistracy of Canopus[edit]
Hiya, sorry to point this out but your article about the History of the Magistracy of Canopus is in violation of our two of our wiki policies: Policy:Fanon and Policy:Canon. Fan fiction falls outside of this wiki's purview. There is a designated BattleTech Fanon Wiki for this, and I suggest you move your project there - however, it's also been pointed out that the bulk of the article is plagiarised from http://www.pryderockindustries.com/ and I'd recommend getting permission from the site owner before posting their AU work on other sites. The article will be deleted on this wiki shortly. You are more than welcome to help out here on Sarna, but please stick to official BattleTech information or noteworthy real-world information. - Chiming in here, with thanks and some encouragement. Diettinger, while it is illegal to simply copy & paste content from another website (unless you wrote it yourself), I am happy that you registered here to contribute and that you created this article. Like others have stated, we cannot keep the text as-is because of plagiarization; but a summary article of the MOC's history is wanted and needed here and I encourage you to write it in your own words. Please do remember to include wikilinks, and remember to tie all factual statements to a reference and include a References and Bibliography section in the article. The idea is that the information must be easily verifiable by other users who maybe want to use the article for fact-checking something in BattleTech canon, and the article therefore must refer to the canonical sources from where it took the information. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask! :) Frabby (talk) 01:17, 18 November 2016 (PST)
