Awards Page[edit]

Hey Ti"Lore"Jo, I want to recognize the work you've been doing on the product and story pages with a little BTW award. I've gone ahead and set up the awards table on your user page to get you going. Thanks for being a good addition to the team! Substantial Addition Award, 1st ribbon --Csdavis715 (talk) 23:15, 28 October 2024 (EDT)

Hi Ti'Lore'Jo, with it coming close to the end of the year/the start of the holiday season/what-have-you, I thought you deserved a piece of recognition for the things you've achieved across the site this year! It's been interesting to see all of the improvements you've been making, so keep up the good work! All Purpose Award, 1st ribbon Fish (talk) 16:24, 28 November 2025 (PST)

Rollback on BattleRun II[edit]

Hi, just wanted to tell you why I rolled back your edit to BattleRun II: The Quest for the Thing: What you did there was you created a redlink for the intro fiction. That is indeed standard procedure for fiction pieces embedded in products such as sourcebooks, and would normally be the thing to do. But this particular product is non-canon. And we don't spin off articles on non-canonical subjects from non-canonical pages. Keep the coverage of non-canon material to the absolute minimum. If you feel the intro fiction story needs to have some degree of coverage, then it would have to be within the BattleRun II article.

Hope that explains it. Carry on. ;) Frabby (talk) 07:23, 7 January 2025 (EST)

Spaceship names[edit]

I have moved "Maitland (Individual Manatee-class DropShip)" to just "Maitland". You don't need to disambiguate where there is no naming conflict, and it makes referencing the article in question so much easier if it isn't a disambiguated name that requires a piped | link. :) Frabby (talk) 06:48, 20 May 2025 (EDT)

Thank you. Before creating the page I checked the word "Maitland" on Sarna and found some "close" references. Therefore I decided to disambiguate the DropShip. --Ti"Lore"Jo (talk) 17:16, 24 May 2025 (EDT)

Master Chronological Fiction Review Index dates[edit]

Hi! Appreciate all the much-needed work you've done on short stories.

I have to intervene right now, though. The Master Chronological Fiction Review Index is not itself a canon source and, per Mendrugo, uses informed guesswork to fill in dates that aren't given in the source material. While it's an amazing project, it can't be treated as an official source of story dates, unfortunately. -- Tumult&Travail (talk) 08:37, 5 July 2025 (EDT)

Herb Beas image[edit]

Hiya, just wanted to point out that the photo image going with the August 2025 interview is an older photo that I've seen before. It's not a photo from 2025. Frabby (talk) 08:46, 29 August 2025 (EDT)

No worries. Thanks for the update, I was thrilled to finally get a picture to the person. Couldn't find anything on the internet. Ti"Lore"Jo (talk) 16:43, 29 August 2025 (EDT)

Titles/rank on character lists for fiction[edit]

Hi Ti"Lore"Jo.

I got rid of all the titles and rank on the character list for a Bonfire of Worlds for two very similar reasons:

  • Rank/title was inconsistently applied: some characters had rank/titles applied, while other characters of similar rank/title did not have them applied
    • Examples:
    • Malvina Hazen has her rank in the list (of Khan) while other Khans do not, such as Garner Kerensky, Gottfried Amirault, and Patrik Fetladral. Why does Malvina get that special treatment, but the others do not?
  • Relatively low rank/title was applied: some characters had relatively low rank/titles applied, while other characters of much higher rank/titles did not have them applied
    • Examples:
    • A character with the rank of Adept and a character with the rank of Petty Officer are listed (both of which are so insignificant that they don't even have articles, redlinked or otherwise), while characters of much higher rank/title that actually do have articles do not have them applied (such as Trillian Steiner, for Archon, and Jerome Blake, for Primus). Why does that Petty Officer and that Adept get that special treatment, but other more important characters do not?

Due to the above inconsistencies with the Bonfire of Worlds character list (that I would assert are not generally present in other fiction articles, such as Blood Legacy or Warrior: Coupe), and due to how long the list is, I would also assert that it's better to eliminate rank and title in Bonfire of Worlds (for consistency's sake) than to list the rank of a Petty Officer who doesn't even have an article whilst ignoring the rank/title of much more important characters, or listing the rank of a Khan while ignoring the same rank for other characters.

Is it okay if I change Bonfire of Worlds back in order to maintain consistency?76.82.146.242 13:50, 5 October 2025 (EDT)

It is work in progress dude. Tumult & Travail did a lot of prep work and now I will add ranks and plot summaries etc. The current ranks reflect everything mentioned in Part 1 of the BattleCorps publication. This will be continued in the next weeks. This said, please do not change anything. Thank you. Till 18:50, 5 October 2025 (CET)
