Uspak was a freeborn MechWarrior whose parents were both trueborn Elementals. Nobody would suspect his lineage on the basis of his extensive skills, though his manner of socialization and joking might offer a few subtle cues to the more astute. However, his genetic background was known to his commanders, which hampered his ability for career advancement. [1]
