Victor Battersea was a noble on the Free Worlds League from Keystone in 3080.[1]

The Jihad cost the family most of its fortune. Count Victor had to put to sell Battersea Manor, the family's home from 2515 until it was set to be sold in 3080 including its vast collection of art and period furniture because of the Jihad.
The Batterseas had investments in land, cargo transport, and industries which the Jihad destroyed or saw them appropriated by Free Worlds military forces and were not returned by 3080.
An action was expected, with the estimate value of the entire collection was expected to be worth in excess of three hundred million eagles. Once the home was sold, Count Victor would move to a townhouse the family owns in New River City, pay off debts and rebuild the family fortune.[1]
