Victor Sharpe was the commanding officer of the Taurian Defense Force as of 3076.[1]

Colonel Sharpe, serving under Senior Marshal Boris Tharn, was executive officer of the Taurian Defense Force's III Corps as of 3064.[2] By 3067, Sharpe continued to serve under Tharn as XO of III Corps.[3] During this time, Sharpe effectively ran III Corps and spent most of his efforts attempting to keep TDF units stationed outside of the Taurian Concordat supplied, with special focus given to those forces in the besieged Pleiades Cluster. When supply lines became critically strained and the mercenary Hansen's Roughriders deployed to the Cluster on insurgent-hunting duty, Sharpe covertly authorized the delivery of WMDs to the TDF's Pleiades forces. This act was well outside of Sharpe's authority but he did it out of loyalty to the Concordat and to his superiors—keeping their names off of any requisition forms—and any ire he earned through his actions was overshadowed by the disastrous asteroid attack on Taurus in 3074.[1]
With the Concordat's leadership dead and its capital city destroyed, Sharpe joined Boris Tharn's new military junta in an effort to shore up Tharn's political power. While most members of the junta felt that Sharpe's placement would not be enough to give Tharn a majority control, the deaths of several members over the course of 3075 made both Sharpe and Tharn prominent figures in the new government. Subsequently, Sharpe was promoted to Senior Marshal of the Taurian Defense Force and was tasked with keeping the Concordat's military in fighting condition despite the severity of the Jihad and the ruination of most of the TDF's manufacturing facilities.[1] After the Jihad's conclusion, Sharpe remained in command of the TDF as Senior Marshal and held direct control over III Corps as of 3085.[4]
