Planetary History[edit]
Star League Era[edit]
In 2785 the Lyran Commonwealth took full control of both Unzmarkt and Vorarlberg, worlds which had been co-administered with the Terran Hegemony during the Star League era.[10]
Succession Wars[edit]
First Succession War[edit]
Vorarlberg was conquered by the Draconis Combine between 2786 and 2790, one of seven worlds to be captured in attacks that had frequently begun as raids, as the Lyran Commonwealth Armed Forces began to crack under the pressure of continuing efforts to annex the Bolan Thumb while also attempting to maintain a defensive posture against both the Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery and the Free Worlds League Military.[12]
Fourth Succession War[edit]
During the Fourth Succession War the Lyran Commonwealth used the Twelfth Donegal Guards to attack Vorarlberg as a part of the final wave of attacks launched under Operation GÖTTERDÄMMERUNG.[41]
Clan Invasion[edit]
Operation Revival[edit]
Vorarlberg was conquered by Clan Wolf in November 3051 when it came under attack by the Red Keshik and Eleventh Wolf Guards. They were opposed by the Vorarlberg Royals, a militia force consisting of a battalion of 'Mechs and three regiments of armor and infantry, who confronted the invaders at Clwynd Hill and Moston. Unfortunately the Royal's dogged determination was matched only by their unflinching stupidity, and the militia was decimated by Wolf Guards at both battle sites.[42]
